Hello? Hello?

Out two year old granddaughter is fascinated with cellphones.  She can play some games already, and scroll through the photos on my phone.  In these pictures, you can see she's already mastered the "chin-shoulder hold", LOL!

This is based on the May 1st sketch from Let's Get Sketchy.   This month, Let's Get Sketchy has partnered with Paper Issues for a joint challenge, so you can create one page and enter both challenges.  Here's a link to Paper Issues, but you need to join their Facebook group to take part in the challenges.  I highly recommend that group - it's a lot of fun!

Spring tulips

Tulips are one of my favorite flowers.  When they start blooming, you know Spring is finally here!
For this card I just the jar and tulip stamps from PaperTrey Ink's Friendship Jar and Spring Fillers sets, colored with Copic markers.  The scallop frame is a Cricut die cut, run through an embossing folder.

I'm entering this in the current Cut It Up challenge to use flowers on your project, and the current challenge #47  at TicTacToe.   Their challenge board is below:

I used the diagonal row from top left to bottom right:  spring, red, and die cut.

Scrap Our Stash May Challenge

The May challenge at Scrap Our Stash is to create a layout about your pet or another animal and to include an animal embellishment or animal patterned paper on your page.  Lasting Memories also has a challenge to use hearts on your page.  I scrapped this page about our two year old lab and it fits both challenges.

Papers and alpha stickers are from Bella Blvd.  I fussy cut the bunny from one of the papers and added a stamped carrot.  The orange hearts are from a transparency sheet, layered over orange paper.

Our dog loves stuffed animals; luckily for us, he only likes to carry around the animals and doesn't chew them up.  For some reason, he really liked this Easter bunny.  I just had to take this picture.  Believe me, he's not usually this calm, LOL!

Have a bee-youtiful birthday!

This card was inspired by Challenge #92 at If You Give a Crafter a Cookie.   Here is the cookie inspiration photo:

Here's my card, using flowers, a bee and some yellow.

The bee is an older stamp from Unity and the flowers are from Altenew, all colored with Copics.  I made the sentiment on my computer.

I hope you get a chance to check out the challenges at If You Give a Crafter a Cookie.  Even if you don't participate, it's worth checking out the awesome cookies they use as inspiration!

TicTacToe Challenge #45

Here's the newest challenge board for TicTacToe Challenge #45:

I chose the left vertical column:  floral, washi tape, and yellow.

The watering can and flowers are Hero Arts stamps and the sentiment is from Sunny Studio Stamps.  I colored the image with Copics, and added some yellow paint sprinkles and gray and white checked washi tape.  I'm trying to build up a stash of birthday cards to donate to our county's elderly services group, so concentrating on birthday cards for a little while.
